Regulations to Implement the Community Charter

A variety of regulations have been developed to implement the Community Charter. This is a summary guide to the regulations which took effect on or after January 1, 2004 under the Community Charter and Community Charter Transitional Provisions, Consequential Amendments and Other Amendments Act, 2003.
 

The following is not an exhaustive list of all the regulations that apply to local governments; specific rules contained in other provincial statutes continue to be relevant for local governments (e.g. regulations under the Local Government Act).
