Regional Service Arrangements and Service Reviews
In recent years legislative changes have added increased flexibility and more tools for the provision and funding of local government services within regional districts, and the effective resolution of conflict that can arise within service partnerships. Through the guides and booklets below, practical guidance is available to:
- assist regional districts in designing innovative and sustainable service arrangements;
- provide direction on ways to maximize the effectiveness of regional district service reviews; and
- provide advice on using interest-based negotiation to reach agreement on RD service review and withdrawal issues.
