GROUND BREAKING HELD FOR UBCM'S MUNICIPAL HOUSE

VICTORIA - April 11, 2008 - Community Services Minister Ida Chong (centre) and UBCM's President Susan Gimse (right) and Past President Brenda Binnie join project architect Tony James at the groundbreaking ceremony for Municipal House, the Union of BC Municipalities' new headquarters in the provincial capital. See related photos. The completed building will provide one of the greenest office spaces in the capital region, targeting Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold designation.
