INCREASE TO TRANSITION HOUSE STAFFING PROTECTS WOMEN SEEKING REFUGE FROM VIOLENCE

VICTORIA - Oct. 30, 2007 - Women and children seeking refuge from violence will soon have 24/7 access to all provincially funded transition houses, thanks to a $6-million boost over three years to the Province’s violence intervention supports.
