Funding Supports Program for Children Who Witness Abuse
VICTORIA – The BC/Yukon Society of Transition Houses is
receiving $356,854 in funding to support its Violence is
Preventable (VIP) program for children who witness abuse. The
funding was announced by Ida Chong, Minister of Community
Services and Minister responsible for Seniors’ and Women’s
Issues, during Prevention of Violence Against Women Week.
