The Community Programs Branch is responsible for funding, managing and administering programs to support:

Community-based Programs and Services

• Stopping the Violence
  Community-based prevention projects and counselling programs for women who have experienced violence.
• Transition Houses, Safe Homes and Second Stage Housing
  Services for women and children leaving abusive relationships.
• Children Who Witness Abuse
  Counselling for children who have witnessed abuse, and their families.
• Outreach and Multicultural Outreach Services are community-based services to help women who have experienced violence and their dependent children identify and access the services they need.
